Athletico for the win!!

On Friday was another soccer game.  Grey and rainy all morning, but most of that cleared out so we could enjoy our Athletico boys against AYSO United once more!  If my memory serves we won 7 to 4…. I think… what matters is they had fun!!  Always great to watch these games, see them improve, and have fun with an excited crowd!  Until next time… Athletico, Ole, Ole Ole!!!

Athletico! Ole, ole, ole!!

This week my son Charlie’s competition soccer team started the season off in a big way with 2 games! They did such great job and it was so fun to watch!  One of my favorite parts of the 2nd game was about once every 3 minutes or so you’d hear my little 3 year old doing the team cheer, “Athletico, ole, ole ole!”  This was accompanied by a little dance a lot of enthusiasm!   We are rooting for you Athletico!!  Here’s to a great season!  Athletico, Ole, ole, ole!!

Go Wasatch!!

Our Wasatch soccer team have been so fun this year, and the team has improved so much!  They are playing more like a team, passing more often and faster, each of their skills have significantly increased, and they have gained some wonderful friends!  We have a couple more trainings and the Wasatch Tournament, and then we are finished for the season!!  Great job Wasatch!!  Thanks so much to there Coach Nate Thacker, and to Kip Bremser for all your dedication and guidance and to Jamie Hadlow for all your work as the manager!!  It’s been a great team!  GO WASATCH!!

Strikers Cup!

Here’s some more of our boys from the Strikers Cup!  They are quite photogenic!  If your child isn’t here he will probably be in the next batch.  I would like to know if you parents run with you tongue sticking out!?  I don’t think I do, but our kids do…  all of them, and I have the proof!  Enjoy the photos, and let me know if you need a larger size of a picture.

Wasatch Soccer Dudes

Last week the U9 Wasatch Soccer team (including my son Charlie) had there first tournament!!  It was hot and sunny, which my 2 year old did not like very much, and prevented me from taking too many pictures.  The boys had a great time however, and it was an awesome start to a year full of throw-ins and corner kicks, and a whole lot of goals!  Great job boys!!  We’re excited to watch you get better and better!!

If you are a parent and are interested in any of these pictures, shoot me a message with your e-mail, and I will send you a copy.  Enjoy!
